IN THE THIRD JUDICIAL CIRCUIT COURT
WAYNE COUNTY
ADRIENNE MARJORIE ROCKENHAUS,
Petitioner,
v.
CONRAD ALAN ROCKENHAUS,
Respondent.
Case No. 26-102221-PP
Hon. PPO Docket Judge
RESPONDENT'S MOTION FOR ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE AND
FOR COURT-SUPERVISED ACCESS TO PERSONAL PROPERTY,
ELECTRONIC DEVICES, AND PERSONAL RECORDS
I. INTRODUCTION
NOW COMES Respondent, Conrad Alan Rockenhaus, appearing pro se, and
respectfully moves this Honorable Court for an Order to Show Cause directed at
Petitioner Adrienne Marjorie Rockenhaus, and for a Court-supervised order permitting
Respondent one-time access to the marital residence located at 26695 Ross Dr.,
Redford, Michigan 48239, for the purpose of retrieving his personal property,
electronic devices, and personal records. In support thereof, Respondent states as
follows:
This motion arises from Petitioner's deliberate and ongoing deprivation of
Respondent's personal property through a combination of fraudulent
misrepresentations to law enforcement and the weaponization of a Personal

Protection Order (PPO) as a tool to effectuate an unlawful lockout. Since the PPO was
served on Respondent on or about March 2, 2026, Petitioner has refused to allow
Respondent any access to his personal belongings, electronic devices, and personal
records that remain inside the marital residence. As a direct result of Petitioner's
conduct, Respondent was rendered homeless following service of the PPO and
remained without stable housing until March 29, 2026, when he obtained housing with
the assistance of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Respondent continues to be
irreparably harmed by the ongoing withholding of property indispensable to his daily
life and to his pending litigation.
II. STATEMENT OF FACTS
1. Respondent Conrad Alan Rockenhaus and Petitioner Adrienne Marjorie
Rockenhaus are husband and wife. The parties executed a residential lease
agreement for the property located at 26695 Ross Dr., Redford, Michigan 48239,
commencing September 1, 2025, through August 31, 2026 ("the marital residence").
Both Conrad Alan Rockenhaus and Adrienne Marjorie Rockenhaus are listed as
residents on the lease. A true and correct copy of this lease is attached hereto as
Exhibit A.
2. On or about March 2, 2026, officers of the Redford Township Police Department
responded to the marital residence in connection with service of the PPO in this
matter, as documented in Redford Township Police Case Report No. 260003379 ("the
Redford Police Report"), a true and correct copy of which is attached hereto as
Exhibit B.
3. At the time of that police contact, Petitioner knowingly and falsely represented to
the Redford Township Police that Respondent had never resided at 26695 Ross Dr.,
Redford, Michigan. This statement was demonstrably false, as both parties are named

lessees on the lease agreement for that address.
4. Petitioner further solicited a neighbor, Annie Helgren of Redford, Michigan, to
corroborate her false statement to police by falsely claiming that Respondent had
never lived at the residence. Ms. Helgren refused to make such a false statement to
law enforcement.
5. As a direct result of Petitioner's misrepresentation to police, Respondent was
prevented from retrieving any personal property from the marital residence on the
date he was served with the PPO or at any time thereafter.
6. As a consequence of being locked out of the marital residence and denied access
to his personal belongings and funds, Respondent was rendered homeless. On March
29, 2026, Respondent obtained stable housing at 1690
