Certified copies of the written Revocation of Power of Attorney executed by Respondent revoking any
authority previously granted to Petitioner to receive, access, or manage Respondent's federal disability
benefits, together with U.S. Postal Service Certified Mail receipts and Return Receipt confirming
service on Petitioner on February 17, 2026.
Relevance:
February 17, 2026 is the trigger date for the PPO filing, not any alleged act by Respondent. On the
morning of February 17, 2026, the certified Revocation was delivered to Petitioner, terminating her
access to Respondent's VA and SSDI benefits. Three days later, on February 20, 2026, Petitioner filed
the ex parte PPO petition. The proximity between the revocation of financial authority and the PPO
filing, combined with Exhibit 1 (Petitioner's February 9 announcement of the PPO as a tool to bar
“accessing financial assets”), demonstrates that the PPO was retaliatory, filed in response to the loss of
financial control rather than in response to any specific threat.
